and IntraLATA Calls |
Intrastate long distance
includes all long distance calls within
your state and service for these calls.
IntraLATA toll calls are the exception
and are often called "local
or regional long distance".
IntraLATA calls are those calls within
your local phone company's Local
Access and Transport
Area that can be serviced
by either your local phone company or
your long distance carrier.
Some local service providers offer "special"
plans for your IntraLATA service in
conjunction with your basic local service.
By selecting this option, you are authorizing
us to service your INTRALATA calls at
our intrastate rate and your local phone
company will no longer provide that
portion of your phone service.
