back to questions
Why the name Cucumber?
There’s nothing more appealing to the mind than jogging it back to its youthful days, reminding it of good times, the times of : ‘What’s your name? Mary Jane, What’s your number? Cucumber!.

Cucumber Communications treats its customers with good old-fashioned care, giving them old-fashioned personal treatment. In this potentially frightening world where the digital dragon presides, and the technology monster rules, Cucumber welcomes the client who wants to be treated like a human being....

back to questions
How am I building a better world by signing up with Cucumber’s long distance phone service?
Cucumber is a division of Oorah. ALL our proceeds go to non-profit groups working for human rights and education, directly benefitting children from very poor and dysfunctional homes. Your support will help us provide special education and private tutoring to compensate for the lack of warmth and care, the kids we help, struggle with daily.
